Answer: No

The People’s Party of Canada regularly ridicules even the idea of implementing a vaccine passport and detests the creation of a two-tier system in which unvaccinated people are excluded from parts of society. As a member of this party, it can be assumed that this candidate is also against a vaccine passport.

Question: Vaccination against COVID-19 should be mandatory.

Answer: No

The People’s Party of Canada believes that every person should have the freedom to choose whether they are vaccinated, and the party leader has stated that he has not taken and will not take a vaccine for a virus which poses no serious risk to his own health.

Question: Masks should be required on airplanes or in public spaces.

Answer: No

The People’s Party of Canada has stated that they want to see a complete end to lockdowns and the tyranny of the federal government which has been levied against the Canadian people over the course of the pandemic. This includes mask mandates. As a member of this party, it can be assumed that this candidate shares this position.

Question: The Canada/US border has been closed for too long.

Answer: Yes

The People’s Party of Canada has advocated a complete return to normalcy, with the only caveat being the protection of those most vulnerable (elderly people above the age of 80). As such, members of the party wish to see the border reopened to help bolster economic recovery.

Question: I am concerned that social media giants have become a growing threat to freedom of speech during the pandemic.

Answer: Yes

The People’s Party of Canada has routinely come out in defence of those who have been censored due to their unorthodox views regarding the mainstream COVID narrative, and has also pushed back against Bill C-36.

Question: The federal government has appropriately responded to the pandemic.

Answer: No

The People’s Party of Canada’s official stance is that the government has done an atrocious job throughout the pandemic. As a member of this party, it is assumed that this candidate shares this view.
