Answer: No

The Maverick Party has come out strongly against the implementation of a vaccine passport and the creation of a two-tier system in which unvaccinated people are excluded from parts of society. As a member of this party, it can be assumed that this candidate is also against a vaccine passport.

Question: Vaccination against COVID-19 should be mandatory.

Answer: No

The Maverick Party has stated that each individual should have the right to choose whether they get vaccinated or not. As a member of this party, it can be assumed that this candidate is against Canadians being forced to take experimental mRNA gene therapy.

Question: Masks should be required on airplanes or in public spaces.

As part of their official statement on the pandemic, the Maverick Party has stated that they understand why certain mandates were initially put in place, but believes that the government has overreached by continuing to enforce rules which undermine the rights of Canadians. According to the party, “This initial willingness to temporarily set aside individual rights and freedoms for the greater common good has been abused and eroded by government decisions.” Thus, the party believes that the decision to mask or not mask should be left up to individuals and not mandated by the government.
